6：History of Yaeyama Aoganpi-washi Laboratory:

Laboratory

(1) On March 14, 1998, commencing a tenancy of city-own land (990.00m2) at 148-403 Ota Aza Ukiumi Ishigaki City.
(2) In March 1998, transplanting approximately 1200 Aoganpi cultivated in Iriomote in a field in the laboratory. After that, Yaeyama Agricultural High School Civil Engineering Division cultivates seedlings and transplants every year.
(3) Buying out the city-own land. Expansion of the land to 1572m2. Area of the laboratory: 106m2.
